This project was for Amy’s brother, Matt Hovis, who handled all our branding. It was at his home in East Austin on Encino. The project was a lot of fun and it was exciting to see it evolve and grow over time. Matt wanted privacy from the street without feeling completely closed off from the neighborhood. We created a cozy coffee nook in the front of the house where he could enjoy the garden and its newly invited wildlife. In the back, we navigated full shade from the towering heritage oak trees, and created a privacy buffer from giant complex was recently built behind him.
